Origin

and tradition

Originating from authentic recipes, with the highest quality ingredients, Panimon products pleasantly capture the tastes of multiple generations. We are proud of Panimon’s history and have the responsibility to carry the tradition forward in a MODERN vision.

1957

THE BEGINNING

The Milling and Baking Enterprise of Bacău is established, and in 1959, the Târgu Ocna Local Industry is formed, specializing in the production of bread and milling products.

Târgu Ocna Factory

It produces and distributes in the region varieties of bread, as well as pastries made from leavened dough. After 1998, its main activity remains the production of bread.

Panimon
Mill

The construction of the Panimon Mill begins, initially as a corn mill, which was transformed into a wheat mill in 1993. It was equipped with Romanian machinery manufactured by the State Enterprise Islaz Alexandria.

ONEȘTI Bread factory

The first dedicated bread production unit is built in Onești.

PIONEERING IN THE LOCAL INDUSTRY

The factory diversifies its product range, so in addition to bakery products, it produces, for the first time in Onești, popcorn and pretzel sticks.

SWISS EQUIPMENT

The first upgrade with BUHLER machines takes place, ensuring an increase in the wheat mill’s production capacity from 95 tons/24h to 150 tons/24h.

CERTIFIED SAFETY

Food safety represents an objective of primary importance for us. To ensure it, we implemented strict standards and procedures, being internationally recognized and certified. We enjoy a long experience in the field, and we pride ourselves on the ISO and IFS certifications we hold, evidence of our strong commitment to the safety and quality of the food we produce.

A NEW ERA

The company is acquired by Agricultorul Group, a renowned brand in the agricultural sector of Romania, specializing in grain production, trading, and agricultural services in the northeastern part of the country. With a turnover of over 100 million euros, Agricultorul Group cultivates an area of over 3,000 hectares, trades over 500,000 tons of cereals per year, and owns grain storage facilities with a capacity of 230,000 tons.

A major rebranding, modernization, automation, and digitization project begins, aimed at setting new standards of quality and efficiency.

The Laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art analysis equipment.

The milling capacity is increased from 150 tons/24h to 175 tons/24h.

We implement automation, digitalization, and robotics projects while investing in our people and the community. Thus, we have ongoing projects on increasing the mill grinding capacity from 175 tons/24h to 225 tons/24h, but also on supplementing and automating the packaging and delivery capacities of finished products.
